Table Creation and Maintenance

The open systems platform enables DATABASEWizard™ to apply, link, and maintain multiple tables. This includes primary and sub level tables, reference tables, and data dictionaries. After completion of all address standardization steps, we utilize DATABASEWizard™ to create the physical data structure and populate the database in preparation for loading into Sybase Adaptive Server IQ .

DATABASEWizard™ allows for complete replacements during the update process or can perform unique key updates. A unique key update will allow for transactional files to be added to the initial database without recreating existing records from previous updates.

Duplicate Identification and Consolidation

DATABASEWizard™ matching logic uses a proprietary multiple image methodology that allows for complete flexibility on what data elements can be included. Any data elements on the file such as; name, company name, address, telephone numbers, Customer ID, etc. can be included in the duplicate identification process. This includes the ability to change the rules of the hierarchy and consolidation dependent upon different types of matches between record elements and or specific input files. Anchor's flexible technology allows us to tailor and define all of the fields in the system to conform to your requirements.

Once duplicate records are identified, each of the individual records are flagged with Anchor generated coding. Sample duplicate and unique records are output for review. Each duplicate is reviewed to see if it meets the client's definition of a duplicate. Any modifications to the duplicate identification can be made at this time.

Utilizing coding and other unique key data, DATABASEWizard™ will then search for and consolidate all sub-level table records that are associated with the identified duplicates into the remaining unique record. Duplicate records can be output to a file for later review or can be used by the client to update the business operating systems.

Householding

Additional processing in DATABASEWizard™ using duplicate identification logic links individuals at the household level. Again, the parameters for defining a household are driven by the client's specifications and are completely customized.

Our DATABASEInsight™ system provides the ability to query at both individual and household levels. This methodology provides flexible solutions needed for marketing campaigns and analysis. You are able to select at either the household or individual level!

Business Record Consolidation

DATABASEWizard™ and DATABASEInsight™ are designed to work with Business as well as Consumer records. We have a reputation for handling the most complex business addresses and accurately identify variations in company name or address and link multiple sites. The definition of a business duplicate may vary based on your companies business model and is easily handled by the flexability built into our matching logic. Our DATABASEInsight™ system provides business marketer's the ability to query multiple contacts at both the individual and company level.

Audit Reports

DATABASEWizard™ can manage all aspects of the update process including adding new record transactions, duplicate identification (merge/purge), house-holding, sub-table record consolidation and modifications to database structures.

Reports that are produced by DATABASEWizard™ include:

• Geographic distribution counts by SCF and state.
  
• Frequency distribution counts for each code field on the database.
  
• Final File Summary Reports for each table in the database displaying transaction activity recap and master database status.

Aggregate Data

After identifying and removing duplicate name and address records, we run additional processing to aggregate data such as dollars purchased, frequency of purchases, etc. By aggregating or summarizing frequently queried data you can experience faster response time.

Because each database is custom designed, you are able to define the fields to be summarized and their calculations during the design phase of the database build. This processing can summarize data at either a contact and/or household or business unit level and will speed selection capabilities as well as RFM (Recency, Frequency and Monetary value) analysis.
