Occupant Lists

Our Occupant Mail Database is a comprehensive compilation of almost every address in the Continental United States and Puerto Rico.

The addresses in our Occupant Database is comprised of the following address categories and counts:   

• 111 Million Resident Addresses
• 8 Million Business Addresses
• 1.6 Million Post Office Box Addresses where there is no home delivery
• 17.3 Million Post Office Box Addresses used for auxiliary addresses.                           

The entire Occupant Database totals approximately 140 million deliverable addresses. It includes a lot of data that can enhance deliverability and provide valuable selection criteria:

• Apartment numbers are available on almost all apartment buildings, including those in New York City.
• Move-in dates are available on addresses where a move occurred within the last 3 years.
• Addresses are coded as to whether they are Single Family Dwelling Units (SFDU) or a Multi-Family Dwelling Unit (MFDU).
• Latitude and Longitude are coded on the file to enable selections based on distance.
• County selections are available for the Continental United States.
• Every record is Carrier Route and ZIP+4+2 coded.

This database is being constantly enhanced with new address related data. Presently the following applications are suggested for this file:

• National, regional or neighborhood saturation mailings.
• Creation of proprietary databases.
• As a product fulfillment address validation file.
• An overlay file to code your database with address types and other data.
• A base file for determining awareness and market penetration.

Mapping services are available for outlining Trading Areas in single and multiple family locations. Selections are available on any data or geography contained in the Occupant Database including street boundaries in metropolitan areas.

Output is available on labels, various tape formats, via ftp and email. Wide Area Barcoded labels will be available when the United States Postal Service^® is ready to accept them. Turnaround time for labels is based upon the turnaround time you select.

An address matching service is available for those mailers who want to mail to all non-customers in specific areas. Your customer database can be matched to all addresses in a targeted area and all addresses on your customer file are suppressed.
