Database Improvement
Deceased Processing

This enables you to eliminate deceased individuals prior to a promotion and prevents annoying surviving members of the household with wasted mail.
Our file contains 40 million deceased records. Unique to this suppression file is Anchor's "Probability of Deceased Scoring Methodology". This proprietary
software will append date of birth and date of death and assign a "Probability of Deceased Score" to each deceased record when matched against a mailers database.
Anchor's Deceased processing will enable mailers to more intelligently identify deceased names and allow for a determination if a name should be suppressed.
The mailer will benefit from an improved response rate, lower cost and an improvement of the company's image by minimizing mailings to deceased individuals.
DMA - Do Not Mail
Mail
Preference Service (MPS) is a file of consumers who have requested less nationally-based advertising mail at home. Consumers register with MPS by providing their name and address to The Direct Marketing Association. Consumers learn about the availability of the service through state and local consumer agencies and print and broadcast media.
The
DMA MPS is an effective means of purging your mailing lists of consumers who want to receive less advertising mail at home. If you are not already using this service, you should. Using MPS can be the single most
important contribution your company can make to preserving the information access that is the foundation of successful direct marketing.
The
file is professionally maintained through; NCOALink processing, DSF2 processing, Address Standardization, ZIP correction, ZIP+4® appending and is de-duped.
DMA - Do Not Call
The
Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is a file of consumers who have notified the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) that they do not want to receive telephone sales calls at home. Consumers register with TPS by providing their name, address and phone number to the DMA.
The
DMA TPS is an effective means of purging your calling lists of consumers who do not want to receive telemarketing calls at home. Using TPS can be the single most important contribution your company can make to
preserving the information access that is the foundation of successful telephone direct marketing.
The
Telephone Consumer Protection Act requires that telephone marketers offer consumers in-house suppression upon request. Using TPS complements your in-house suppression file by removing in advance those consumers
who have already expressed the desire not receive calls at home saving your time and money for those who may be interested in your offer.
The
file is professionally maintained through: Area Code and Exchange Corrections, Phone Numbers Appended, NCOALink Processing and is de-duped.
Note: The following States include their "Do Not Call" lists in the DMA Telephone Preference Service:
Connecticut, Maine, Kentucky and Wyoming. All other States that have
"Do Not Call" programs maintain their own databases.
